In this video I will show you how to get the PMDG 747-400 V3 For free. The livery files are out there (I have a few) so they can be found. I agree completely. But it is what it is and all forum members can do is try and help each other. It's the least that can be done without leaving customers high and dry. Even RealAir went out of business, but they kept the site open for their customers to still access their purchased products. That's not asking for support, that's asking for access to your files. Not looking for support for the old 747, there was nothing wrong with it in a technical sense, except you can't get the old liveries any more. Or you could be practical and say legacy support can't be expected indefinitely. You could be cynical and say this is done to encourage people to move to the new version.

The same thing will happen in time to XP11 users. I have XP10, and support for that platform will gradually disappear as people move to XP11. X-Plane is no different regarding legacy product support. Not knocking PMDG's quality, it's next to none any where else in the industry, and I understand it's a business, but it's time to move on.

At least you can create a whole lot of real world scenery for free with X-Plane. Tired of all the money wasted on products you can't get any more support on. I've chosen none, and planning to move on to X-Plane here soon any way. You can doubt it all you want, but if you can't get any support or livery for a product you already bought, like I did, you will get discouraged to the point of either, buying the new version, or none at all. I am sure that he's up to the standard, are you not? :)Daniel P. John Tavendale did painting for PMDG, now he's freelance (I think). The line between being a freelance painter and being a "PMDG professional" is rather blurry, my friend. , I guess in part it's because I'm also a painter, but I seriously think you're underestimating what some of us are capable of. Look at this paint how is it inferior, or not up to PMDG standards? The artwork is by Terence Pereira, whom I regard as being one of the best freeware painters. Some of us want to spend our small amounts of marginal, leisure time actually using FS 2004, not fiddling around with it.Sorry to bring this back up, but I do have to wonder.

It is time consuming for customers to sort the acceptable from the unacceptable. True, but some no doubt try hard and do a commendable job - but they are not yet up to the standard of the PMDG professionals.
